Engineering Solutions Incorporated has implemented a generous and comprehensive employee benefits program that provides a full range of benefits. Below is a summary of the available benefits.
||ESi’s medical provider is CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield. ESi offers several medical plans that enable employees to make tax-advantaged contributions to their own Health Savings Account (HSA). The health plan offerings include the Blue Choice HMO, with two deductible options, and the Healthy Blue Advantage. The Healthy Blue Advantage is a new innovative program that enables participants to take control of their health care and earn rewards for living a healthy life. All plans are open access, which means no referrals are required. For employees selecting individual coverage in the lower deductible HMO plan, ESi pays 100% of the premiums and up to 100% of the deductible.
||ESI’s dental provider is Renaissance. This is a traditional dental plan and allows you to utilize any dentist.
||Vision coverage is provided by Carefirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, and is offered at no additional cost for participants of the health plans. A separate vision plan (Blue Vision Plus) is offered at a nominal cost for those not electing a health plan or for health plan participants electing to upgrade their vision plan.
|Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
||Employees may lower their taxable income by using the FSA to pay for health care and day care expenses. FSA maximum limits are $2,650/Medical Care and $5,000/Dependent Care.
|Group Life Insurance
||An amount equal to 1 (one) times your annual salary, up to a maximum of $100,000, paid by ESi. The coverage also includes AD&D insurance equal to the basic group life benefit.
|Long Term Disability
||Benefit is 60% of salary up to a maximum benefit of $8,000 per month. Benefits begin after a 90 day elimination period. Premiums are paid entirely by ESi. Employees are responsible for the taxes on the premiums, thereby allowing the disability income to be untaxed.
|Short Term Disability
||Benefit is 60% of salary up to a maximum benefit of $1,385 per week for 13 weeks. Premiums are paid entirely by ESi. Employees are responsible for the taxes on the premiums, thereby allowing the disability income to be untaxed.
||Plan managed by Principal Financial Group. Employee is vested in the company contributions from day one. ESi matches 200% of the first 4.5% of employee contributions up to a maximum 9% company contribution. ESI offers both traditional and Roth 401(k) accounts. ESI may make additional annual discretionary contributions.
|Paid Time Off
||Paid time off (PTO) can be earned at the rate of up to five weeks per year, plus 10 paid holidays. New employees will begin employment with 40 hours of accrued PTO.
|Professional Development Assistance
||Tuition, professional training, certification and registration reimbursement for course work associated with the enhancement of job-related skills and/or the pursuit of a technical degree, up to a maximum of $5,250 tax deferred per year.
E-learning – ESi provides access to an extensive online library of books.
|Employee Referral Program
||Employees receive $10,000 for the referral of a fully cleared candidate who is subsequently hired by ESi.
||All employees participate in ESi’s generous annual bonus distribution.
