Promotions, Appointment and Retirement!

We would like to proudly  announce the promotions of Amy Steinberg as Vice President of Programs and David Thompson as Vice President of Corporate Services. Ms. Steinberg assumed responsibility for execution of ESi’s extensive portfolio of Intelligence Community programs. Mr. Thompson is responsible for oversight of ESi’s business support operations, including Finance, Accounting, Contracts, Security, and IT Infrastructure. The appointments were effective on 4 January, and both report to ESi’s President, Gary Rosen. ESi also announced the appointment of Eddie Harless as Director of Mission Systems and the retirement of Rick Hoyle, who previously held the position.

Ms. Steinberg joined ESi in 2016 as a Director, and has been managing engineering teams across a broad portfolio of cyber and information technology programs. Prior to ESi, Ms. Steinberg held various leadership positions at major defense contracting firms managing programs supporting Intelligence Community customers. Mrs. Steinberg graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Pennsylvania State University. She also earned a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin.

 

 

 

Mr. Thompson has been at ESi for seventeen years providing all aspects of contractual and financial management support to the company’s Intelligence Community programs. Mr. Thompson graduated from Towson University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Economics. He received his Master of Business Administration Degree from Loyola College in Baltimore.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Harless joined ESi as a Director in November of 2019. After serving in the U.S Navy, Mr. Harless held numerous program and personnel management positions at a major defense firm. Most recently, he was the Deputy Program Manager for a multi-year, $600M analytics contract. Mr. Harless graduated from Drexel University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing and Security Technology.

 

 

 

 

Mr. Hoyle brings to a close an illustrious 40-year career supporting the Intelligence Community. Throughout his career Mr. Hoyle has been a beloved leader and well respected by industry partners and his employees. He and his wife Joanne will be retiring to their home at Lake Anna, Virginia, where they will enjoy spending time with their family, including ten grandchildren.
