Annapolis Junction, Md., July 21, 2023 – ESi/Meadowgate announced today that its CEO Tom Lash was appointed to the newly established U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation Advisory Committee. The USGIF AdCom supports and collaborates with the USGIF leadership team in shaping the Foundation’s strategic direction.

“I am honored to serve in this role, especially with such outstanding leaders from across the geospatial intelligence community,” said Lash. “USGIF and the field of GEOINT play such a vital role in our effort to defend our nation and secure our world. I look forward to working with this team to provide insight and perspectives on emerging trends and critical issues to help inform and guide the Foundation’s strategic direction.”

Lash joined Meadowgate earlier this year and lead the company through its merger with ESi in April. The two Maryland companies combined to create a market leader in hybrid technology solutions and professional services for the national security community. Lark is a former national security leader at AWS’ Federal Division.

USGIF is a nonprofit educational foundation dedicated to promoting the geospatial intelligence tradecraft and developing a stronger GEOINT community among government, industry, academia, professional organizations, and individuals who develop and apply GEOINT to address global security challenges.
